Logan Square Food Truck Social returns to Chicago August 25-27

The Logan Square Food Truck Social returns to the Chicago neighborhood for the second consecutive year, August 25-27, organizers Optimum Events and Empty Bottle Presents announced, according to dnainfo.com.

As many as 24 food trucks and local bands will take over Humboldt Boulevard between Armitage and Bloomingdale avenues, 5-10 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.

Attendees are asked to make a $5 donation. For $20, a sampler ticket will provide six sample-sized portions from the trucks and/or cups of beer from Revolution Brewing with an ID.

Part of the proceeds will benefit the Illinois Food Truck Owners Association and local nonprofit La Casa Norte.

Trucks include: 5411 Empanadas, Aztec Daves, Beavers Coffee & Donuts, Boo Coo Roux, Bop Bar Korean, Bruges Brothers, Caponies Express, The Cajun Connoisseur Food Truck, Carnivale Food Truck, Chicago Lunch Box, Chicago Pizza Boss, Da Lobsta Food Truck, DonerMen, El Patron, The Fat Shallot, Flying Tacos, Giordano's, Good Burger, Happy Lobster Truck, Izakaya Yume Sushi, Jerk Modern Jamaican Grill, Loop Juice, Lucy's, Mrs. Tittles Cupcakes, Pierogi Wagon, The Shrimp Shack, The Lifeway Kefer Shop, Yum Dum, Cevapcici, Doom Street Eats, Estrella Negra and Rich's Deli.
