Long Beach, California food trucks to serve the homeless

November 20, 2019

More than a dozen Long Beach, California area food trucks will feed the homeless from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the 14th Street Park, between Pacific and Chestnut avenues in the inaugural "Trucks-Giving," according to a Press-Telegram report. The trucks will also serve the public, with proceeds benefiting the Mayor's Fund to End Homelessness, which is managed by the Long Beach Community Foundation.

Social service organizations will provide free meal tickets to the homeless. The general public can purchase tickets for $7 using cash or credit/debit cards at the event.
