Long Island mall hosting food truck market

The Walt Whitman Shops mall, in Huntington Station on Long Island is playing host to a food truck market.

The New York-based mall event, which is being presented by Famous Food Festival, runs through November 1. Festival activities will take place from noon to 7 p.m. from Thursday to Sundays, according to a Patch report.

Each week will feature different food trucks with fare ranging from ice cream to jerk chicken and pork.
