Longtime Ohio sub shop chain debuts food truck with a twist

A 44-year-old sub sandwich chain in Dayton, Ohio has launched its first food truck in Troy and it boasts a unique twist.

The Super Subby's truck is a drive-thru experience, according to a Dayton Daily News report.

The chain's owner, Todd Barhorst, was going to do store remodeling but then decided to offer customers an additional option to getting their subs and sides. Nearly two-thirds of his orders are takeout and that factored in as well. He and his sister run four of the eight Super Subby's stores in the Dayton area.

"We've been around Dayton for 44 years. We love the community. We live in the community," Barhorst told the news outlet. "We have great staff, food and amazing customers."
