Louisiana city considers stricter food truck rules

June 12, 2019

The Shreveport, Louisiana metropolitan planning commission is proposing food truck regulations to provide greater oversight of mobile food vendors, according to a Shreveport Times report.

The city's community planning and design manager said just seven of the city's 30 food trucks are licensed.

Brandon Fail, the city's economic development director, said the proposal is burdensome and should be improved.
