August 28, 2019

The Shreveport, Louisiana city council has approved an ordinance requiring food truck and trailer owners to have a license to work within the city limits, according to a Shreveport Times report.

The vehicles are permitted to serve in commercial, industrial and downtown districts, as well as residential areas for events sponsored by a neighborhood or homeowner association.

The ordinance, which was developed with input from food truck operators, includes 25 operational standards that are still being formulated.
