Louisiana city leaders ban food trucks

The Baker City Council, in Baker, Louisiana, has banned food trucks from operating in the city limits by a vote of 3-2.

The vote came after a heated council meeting in late December, according to a WAFB report.

The city had a food truck ban ordinance in place but confusion regarding the rule prompted the council to create a new regulation.

Food trucks are still allowed at special events, according to the news outlet.
