The Metropolitan Planning Commission in Bossier, Louisiana, has placed a six-month moratorium on permanent food truck requests until the commission can establish a new ordinance, according to KTBS-TV.
If food trucks park in certain places for extended time periods, they should pay rent and taxes, city officials said. Food trucks owners said they would like to see clear rules, but note that they already have to have permits, licenses and health inspections.
