Louisiana town to have food truck park

Main Street Truck Park is on track to open in mid November on Main Street, near the intersection with Barrett Street in Pineville, Louisiana, according to an msn.com report.

Taylor Cottano, who is developing the park with business partner Tyler Craig, said the park will provide a location for trucks and amenities like a building with a covered porch for seating for customers, as well as a venue for events in the downtown area.

Cottano said there will be space for about six trucks on one side with an additional two or three in back. There will also be a counter where people can stand and eat.

The park will provide water and electrical connections for trucks, as well as ice, trash service, marketing and a place to dump grease and wastewater.

The park will be open Wednesday through Friday for lunch, all day Saturday and half a day on Sunday.
