Louisville considers relaxing food truck restrictions

December 15, 2017

Louisville may soon allow food trucks to serve people outside of its recreation center, according to the Daily Camera.

The city council will consider an ordinance recently approved by planning commissioners to allow food trucks to operate during city-sponsored events such as the Street Faire and Farmers Market.

The ordinance would also change a rule that prevents food trucks from operating within 150 feet of brick-and-mortar restaurants. Food trucks would be able to operate within that distance with permission from restaurant owners.
