Louisville high schoolers compete in food truck contest

November 20, 2019

High school students in Louisville learned about the food truck business by competing in a contest to develop the best food truck, according to a WAVE 3 News report. Students from Western, Moore and Iroquois high schools presented plans to a judges panel, including Dr. Marty Pollio, superintendent of the Jefferson County Public Schools.

Western High School won the competition with its "Taco Bout It" truck.

The winning team will be working with JCPS to develop an actual food truck program for the district, which plans to continue the competition in future years.
