Lunchbox is providing its clients with free Order Aggregation, which automatically routes third-party platforms like EzCater, DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub directly into the restaurant's POS system. While the product is critical for off-premise success, Lunchbox believes it should be treated as infrastructure, not a standalone upsell.

"This is about realigning priorities," CEO James Walker said in a company press release. "Legacy providers are still charging operators for technology that's now considered table stakes. At Lunchbox, we're prioritizing innovation where it counts— loyalty, catering, AI, and new revenue streams. Order Aggregation is now bundled because it always should have been."

By eliminating aggregation fees, Lunchbox further distinguishes itself as an operator-first solution designed to reduce friction and accelerate digital transformation, said Nabeel Alamgir, executive chairman of Lunchbox

"Restaurants are under more pressure than ever to make every dollar count," Alamgir said in the release. "We want our customers investing in products that unlock revenue—not in basic connectivity. This change reflects our belief that foundational technology should come built in. We're putting operators first by removing another unnecessary cost from the tech stack."
