Ecolab, a provider of water, food safety and infection prevention solutions, is teaming up with Magic Johnson to launch the #TakeBackYourSocialLife campaign as part of a larger initiative to support the return of business across the foodservice industry.
"We're pleased to help people get back to the places they are missing and support our customers — many of whom have been deeply impacted by the pandemic," Ecolab CMO Gail Peterson said in a company press release. "Together, we are advancing cleaner, safer practices and building consumer confidence as we emerge from the pandemic."
The multi-faceted content campaign, led by Wavemaker, a global media agency, and executed on social media platforms by INCA, a content production company, features sports legend Magic Johnson and the owner of an Ecolab Science Certified business — Porto's Bakery — demonstrating how Ecolab Science Certified is helping customers get back to the places they eat, stay, shop and play.
Launched in the summer of 2020, Ecolab Science Certified is a science-based public health and food safety program that helps businesses reach a higher level of cleanliness and addresses new consumer expectations, Peterson said. As businesses reopen, Ecolab Science Certified is bringing the same scientific cleaning expertise used at hospitals to restaurants, hotels, grocery stores and sports arenas.
