Food trucks cause concern for parking in Maine town

Wilton, Maine lawmakers will hold public hearings on parking restrictions for food trucks, according to a Lewiston Sun Journal report. The Selectpersons voted to hold hearings after discussing the possibility of placing additional limits on Main Street parking and on through traffic on side roads.

Parking is presently limited to three-hour increments from 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Town Manager Rhonda Irish said, while there is no limit from 6 p.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and none from 8 a.m. to midnight Sunday.
