Maryland County loosens food truck restrictions

Prince George's County, Maryland has eliminated application fees for food tuck licenses as part of an effort to loosen food truck restrictions, according to a report in The Washington Post.

Food truck licenses were $500 for trucks operating less than 60 days a year and $3,500 for trucks operating more than 60 days per year. The fire department inspection has been reduced from $75 to $35. The new law took effect on Friday.
