Maryland's food truck restrictions will be heard by the state Court of Appeals, according to a report in The Baltimore Sun.
The Baltimore Circuit Court in December 2017 ruled that the requirement that food trucks be 300 feet away from restaurants selling similar food was not enforceable. In May, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals overturned the circuit court ruling. Judge Douglas Nazarian of the Court of Special Appeals said that since 2015, no food truck had a license suspended or received a citation over the 300-foot rule.
A hearing date has not been set.
