Town leaders in Bel Air, Maryland have voted to allow food truck operators to do business on private property without having to get a license.
The decision came after a public hearing on changes to the town's regulation of itinerant peddlers, under which food trucks were included, according to a Patch report.
Food truck operators will need written permission from a property owner and there is still a $230 fee, according the report.
