Massachusetts food truck event features steamed bun eating contest

The final MGM Springfield Food Truck Friday of the season will feature a steamed bun eating contest at 1 p.m. Sept. 13, on Armory Square, according to a masslive.com report.

Man! Buns, an Asian food truck, will choose eight participants to compete to be the "Man! Buns Eating Champion" in which contestants will eat as many Asian steamed buns as they can in three minutes.

The winner gets a free one night stay as well as a pair of tickets to an MGM Springfield show of their choice and dinner at Cal Mare.

Registration takes place 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
