Massachusetts food truck fest boasts dual purpose

The 2021 Rotary Club Food Truck Festival sponsored by the Southborough Rotary in Massachusetts won't just be doling out good food this fall and helping fund Rotary activities.
The event will also benefit local veterans, according to a MySouthborough.com report, via a campaign led by Main Street Bank.
The Rotary is asking festival attendees to donate Northeast-themed sports team clothing, such as hoodies and sweatshirts, for area veterans. It's being coordinated with Sweats for Vets, a group that has been helping homeless veterans since 2011.
Those donating will get a $10 voucher at the festival for food truck purchases at the event.
The festival will run on Wednesday nights, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. starting on Sept. 15 and ending on Oct. 6, according to the report. Four trucks will participate each night at the event on St. Mark's Field.
