Massachusetts food truck raises over 2K for Toys for Tots

James "Woody" Wood, owner of Woody's Goodies food truck in Hingham, Massachusetts, raised over $2,000 for the Toys for Tots program run by the Marine Corps.

The fundraiser was in honor of Gary Wood, a cousin and Navy veteran, who died earlier this month, according to a Wicked Local report.

Gary Wood dressed as Santa for 37 years and delivered candy canes, gifts and scratch tickets to his family members.

"That's what brought joy to him," James Wood told the news outlet. "He enjoyed it. As much of a hassle as it was to get to everybody's house, he enjoyed doing it."
