Rudy Alves, a mayoral candidate in Taunton, Massachusetts, has had his food truck shut down in Brocktown. He can no longer operate due to not having the right permits, according to a report by Taunton Daily Gazette.

A Brockton Superior Judge ordered Alves to pay $1,625 in fines and to stop allegedly harassing George Depina, chief of inspections for Brockton. Alves can no longer operate his truck until he gets the right permits as well, according to the news report.

In addition to this issue, his food truck was located within 250 feet of Italian Kitchen and Cape Cod Café, and he allegedly had no permission from either restaurant.

Depina claims Alves made a variety of threats and social media posts against him during and following inspections of his food truck, according to the news report.
