The Pizza Dis Pasta Dat food truck in Memphis, Tennessee was recently robbed by a thief, who stole $9,000 worth of equipment, including the pizza oven, plumbing and bowls. Owner Keedran Franklin said he tries to hire people who have felony convictions and have trouble finding work, according to a report by WREG 3.

The culprit was seen on camera taking the oven away in a wheelchair, before later falling asleep in the area.

"What I do is create a business to help guys with felonies who have been in trouble and locked out of being able to get jobs in this community," Franklin said in the report. "I was angry, enraged, and sad at first. Now, I have more understanding. Seeing the guy, I can tell addiction probably [has] taken over with this. Maybe he didn't have money to survive. Why else would you steal? Setting fires, falling asleep, probably in some type of slumber high. He had enough time to go and come as he wanted to."

No arrests have been made.
