Merced, California to get food truck park

A food truck park called Valley Eats will open this summer in Merced, California. The park will have space for up to seven food trucks, according to a report by Merced Sun-Star.
Owners Sunee Dola and Goldy Aulakh said they wanted to create a space for affordable meals for children and young people.
"We wanted to bring in a safe environment where people can come and sit down and hang out and have a good meal," Dola told the news outlet.
The truck will provide a variety of food like ice cream, tacos, BBQ and others.
"We've received a lot of interest, we've been receiving a lot of applications, a lot of phone calls, people are very excited," Dola said. "A lot of different kind of vendors (have been) reaching out to us, even willing to come from other cities to park their truck here."
