Mexican fare highlights San Jose’s Top 5 food trucks

Tacos, the original food truck fare in many cities, maintains its dominance in San Jose. The city's top three food trucks specialize in tacos and Mexican fare, according to Hoodline, which ranks trucks based on Yelp reviews and its own "secret sauce," as reported by Yahoo News. 

Tacos Los Tres Reyes, at 2520 Story Road in East San Jose, took first place, earning 4.5 stars out of 90 Yelp reviews, offering Mexican fare.

Tacos La Morenita, at 12015 Saratoga Sunnyvale Road in Calabazas, came in second with five stars out of 40 Yelp reviews, also focusing on Mexican fare.

El Diferente Loncheria, located at 1198 Vine St. in Fairgrounds, came in third with five stars out of 42 Yelp reviews, another Mexican food truck.

Chaat Palace, at 1188 S. De Anza Blvd., Suite 1188 in Calabazas, came in fourth with 4.5 stars out of 96 Yelp reviews, featuring Indian cuisine. 

Tasteebytes, at 326 Commercial St. downtown, came in fifth place with 4.5 stars out of 93 Yelp reviews, offering hot dogs and more.
