Michigan town to host its first food truck rally

August 31, 2017

The Old Town Emmet Farm Market will host its inaugural food truck rally from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, September 2, at the market located at the corner of Emmet and Fulton streets in Petoskey, Michigan, according to the News-Review.

The food truck rally will raise funds for Petoskey's newest farm market, which is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays at Emmet and Fulton streets.

Betony Braddock of the Old Town Emmet Farm Market said construction along Emmet Street has shielded the market's visibility, but the market and the food truck rally will continue throughout construction.

The food truck rally is free. Donations will be accepted to help support the market.

Participating trucks include Burnt Offerings, Cheese and Co., Duke's Dogs, Etta's Kitchen, Happy's Taco Shop, K&J Grill, The Landing, Littleman Bites, Pigs Eatin' Ribs and The Waffle Cabin.
