Michigan town's New Year's Eve event to feature food trucks

The New Year’s Eve downtown ball drop event will return to Grand Rapids, Michigan, featuring food trucks, drink tents and fireworks, according to a woodtv.com report. The event begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday and will be held on Monroe Avenue in front of DeVos Place. Monroe Avenue will be closed from Michigan Street to Lyon Street.

General admission is free, but attendees need a ticket which they can get at stores throughout the city. VIP tickets are $65.
