7 Action News viewers have chosen their favorite food trucks, according to a wxyz.com report and the top two, Truckshuka and Drunken Rooster, specialize in Middle Eastern fare.
Leading the pack is Truckshuka, which serves Israeli street food influenced by Michigan flavors. Highlights include shakshuka, a tomato-based dish with fire roasted bell peppers, garlic, Middle Eastern spices and poached eggs.
Runner up Drunken Rooster offers Mediterranean tacos with a twist.
Coming in at number three is Impasto, which offers naturally fermented wild yeast to make flatbread wraps.
Matt and Mo's Italian Beef is number four, offering Italian beef sandwiches and Chicago style hot dogs.
Grabbing the number five spot is The Lobster Food Truck, offering lobster rolls, lobster mac and cheese, fried lobster bites and more.
Brass Kitchen, at number, six features gourmet sandwiches and sides, as well as house-cured and house-smoked meats.
And at number 7, Fortune Cooking features Asian fusion cuisine on wheels, including sesame chicken rice bowl and Asian tacos.
