Milwaukee food truck pays homage to the avocado

The Vocado MKE is a Milwaukee-based food truck with a mission: sharing a love of avocado toast.

Owner Evan Nevels believes the avocado fare is no waning trend when it comes to what consumers love to eat and he's built his food truck operations on that premise, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report.

Nevels started the business as a farmers market venture then launched a food truck in 2022. This summer he's expanding with another food truck and is already booked for appearances from March through October.

It all started when he began making avocado toast for his breakfast and it dawned on him there were no food trucks offering the fare.
