Milwaukee food truck to help battle human trafficking

March 25, 2019

Following the recent death of Noelani Robinson, who was killed in Milwaukee along with her mother, Sierra Robinson, a restaurant is teaming with a pair of social enterprises to create a food truck to support the war against human trafficking, according to Fox6 News

Joe Muench, co-owner of Blue's Egg, a restaurant and caterer in Shorewood, has partnered with Jarrett Luckett, executive director of Exploit No More, to create a food truck that will be operated by Elevated Chef, a social initiative that supports persons at risk to human trafficking.

The food truck will provide job opportunities for young people, and its design is intended to draw attention to the human trafficking issue. Luckett said providing jobs will help young people gain self esteem.
