Milwaukee restaurant launches food truck

The Braise on the Boulevard restaurant in Milwaukee is now operating a food truck featuring international cuisine.

Dishes include chicken pozole verde, coconut curry dal with winter squash and the Filipino braised pork dish humba, according to a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel report.

The food truck is setting up shop at local brewery events. Braise restaurant owner and food truck operator David Swanson said the truck will be serving year-round for local dining fans as well as catering and farm dinner events.

The truck business was launched to help the restaurant business given challenges from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
