Leaders in Prior Lake, Minnesota, are working on food truck rules given increasing numbers of mobile vehicles and community concerns about operations and location.
Neighboring communities, including Shakopee and Savage, have already approved food truck rules.
Prior Lake has drafted an initial ordinance and is seeking local business and community feedback, according to a SWNewsMedia report.
The proposal would limit food trucks to a total of 21 days in a specific location and fees proposed include a licensing fee and a permit fee.
