After being cancelled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the fourth Greater Stillwater Chamber food truck extravaganza was well received by local residents this year.
The event, which featured 35 food trucks serving up at the Washington County Fairgrounds, has become known as the 'mini state fair,' in Stillwater, according to a report at The Stillwater Gazette.
"After not being able to hold this event in 2020, we are thrilled to be able to have this event for the community — it has become well known in the area as 'a mini state fair in Stillwater," Robin Anthony, executive director of the Greater Stillwater Chamber, said in a news release.
Approximately 7,000 people attended the event, according to the report.
"We had a beautiful day," Anthony told the news outlet. "Everyone was just stoked about being together. It was just a feeling of positivity and hope really."
