A Mississippi-based food truck is heading to Kentucky to help residents impacted by the recent tornado event.

The Tupelo-based truck, run by Johnny Cook and Jennifer Brignac, who also own a restaurant called Jo's Cafe, was started four years ago specifically to help disaster victims, according to a U.S. News report. They aim to feed 250 Kentucky residents meals on Christmas, according to the news outlet.

"We saw aerial footage of the damage, and I told Johnny it was weighing heavy on my heart — and he agreed," Brignac told the news outlet. "Our whole thought is just to give them something normal on Christmas Day."
