City officials in Mobile, Alabama, are drafting the first-ever food truck ordinance and will meet in late October to discuss the initial proposal.
The proposed ordinance falls under review of the Mobile Finance Committee, according to a NBC15 report, and those interested in commenting on the regulation can contact the city clerk's office at cityclerk@cityofmobile.org or 251-208-7411.
The meeting will be live streamed at cityofmobile.org/livestream.
The proposal would require a business license and truck operators would not be allowed to operated within 300 feet of any brick and mortar restaurant.
