Montana food truck owners launch association to promote local culinary trade

The owners of a food truck in Northwest Montana have formed a culinary association to make it easier for people to enter the local culinary industry, according to the Daily Inter Lake.

Martin Flores and Star Ironside, partners in SM Taco Truck in Kalispell, Montana, have launched the Glacier Culinary Association to provide information and resources to industry newcomers.

Association members will also help to market local dining options in Northwest Montana. The first project will be to promote the inaugural Flathead Valley Food Truck Festival, August 10-–12, in Columbia Falls, Montana, the same venue as the annual Fire on the Mountain glass blowing event.
