Food trucks will be allowed on Pacific Avenue in downtown Santa Cruz, California for a new Food Truck Summer Series, beginning 5-9 p.m. Friday on the north end of Pacific Avenue between Locust and Water streets, according to a Santa Cruz Sentinel report.
The series will continue on the third Friday of every summer month and on the fourth Friday in September and October.
Kathryn Walsh, owner of Brothers Promotions, a festival and events promotion company that created the event, got the idea to have food trucks after watching the Food Network. Food trucks had not previously parked on Pacific Avenue .
Participating food trucks include Rogue Pye; Ate3One; Union Foodie; Nomad Mono; Scrumptious Fish & Chips; Shockwave; and Drunk Monkeys.
