Multiple Asian food trucks banned from Fresno, California River Park events

Multiple Asian food trucks including Top It Ramen and El Jabalito have been banned from River Park events in Fresno, California. This part of a directive made by the River Park Shopping Center, California Fresh Farmers Market Association and Fresno Street Eats, according to a report by Fox 26 News.

The directive aims to find food trucks and other groups that complement the tenants at River Park.

"Our mutual goal is to find and highlight participants that complement the mix of tenants at River Park in a manner that is consistent with these values," the groups said in a statement.

Lin's Restaurant Group, which owns Asian restaurants in the River Park area, says it did not support this decision.

"We are not aware of any such ban, and we have never raised any concerns or complaints about food vendors operating in the area. Any claims suggesting otherwise are completely false. As an Asian-owned business, we are proud to support the broader Asian community and stand with all local businesses working hard to share their food, culture, and passion with Fresno," the company said in a statement.
