National Food Truck Day arrives in Utah

Today is National Food Truck Day, and the state of Utah is celebrating with more than 300 food trucks, according to a report by The Daily Utah Chronicle.

There are multiple events across the state featuring food trucks. The events include:

• The Gateway at 6 North Rio Grande Street, Salt Lake City from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PST.
• Petersen's Family Farm at 11800 South 4000 West, Riverton 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Davis County Library at 725 S Main Street, Bountiful from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• 49 South Main Street Park at 49 S Main Street, Spanish Fork from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Porter Way Park at 85 E Porter Way, Stansbury Park from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Venture Out! at 2266 E Evergreen Avenue, Salt Lake City from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Multiple food trucks are offering deals for the day. For example, Smoke a Billy at Venture Out! will give away one drink per slow-cooked meat purchase and Black's Sliders at the Davis County Library will sell discounted french fries.
