One of the latest food trucks in North Carolina is the Boba Bing, which serves up the popular boba tea that originated from Taiwan.

The truck, in Boone, began as a built-out trailer and serves its fare from a spot on NC Highway 105, from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday through Sunday, according to a Watauga Democrat report.

Owner Noble Arsenault initially aimed to open a wolf sanctuary when he moved to Boone two years ago.

"We're really just trying to get a community going because we don't want to just do Boba here. We want to do Asian cultural events, farmers markets, all sorts of little pop-up events. Just something that can support the community," Arsenault told the news outlet.
