New food truck festival planned in Fairfield, Connecticut

The first Fairfield Food Truck Festival comes to Jennings Beach in Fairfield, Connecticut on October 1 from noon to 7 p.m., according to the Fairfield Patch. The event is hosted by the Friends of Fairfield Public Library to support the library's programs.

Admission is $5 per person, with children age 12 and under allowed for free. Parking is free at the beach. 

Participating food trucks include Fire Engine Pizza, The Belgian Bus, DrewbaQ, Cinnamon Churros CT, The Local Meatball, Firehouse Grill, Hapa Food Truck, Super Duper Wienie, Happy Rays Ice Cream, Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies, Edison's Famous Ice, Source Coffee House's Buzzbus and CocoaNuts CT dairy-free gluten-free Thai rolled ice cream.
