New Hampshire arts festival to feature food trucks

Organizers of the Prescott Park Arts Festival in Portsmouth, New Hampshire have asked the city to close a street temporarily for a food truck festival from noon to 9 p.m., Aug. 10, at Prescott Park, according to seacoastonline.com.

Ben Anderson, executive director of the festival, said the festival would like to temporarily close Marcy Street between Court and Hancock streets to allow food trucks to park along one side of the street.

It would also coincide with and complement a musical matinee and evening concert in the park, Anderson said.

Proceeds from the event would support the festival’s arts and events.
