New Hampshire city to reconsider food trucks

September 11, 2018

Portsmouth, New Hampshire, City Councilor Rebecca Perkins Kwoka wants the city to reconsider allowing food trucks after two residents sought variances to open a food truck park at an abandoned gasoline station, according to the Portsmouth Herald.

Public discussions about a food truck ordinance were last held in April of 2017, when the city's traffic safety committee decided against the idea after hearing from residents.

City Manager John Bohenko said the matter will have to be discussed by the planning board and sent to the council for review.
