The Jersey City, New Jersey city council is scheduled to vote today on legislation to change its food truck zones, according to an nj.com report.
The new ordinance creates food truck parking zones on the south side of Montgomery Street between Hudson and Greene streets and on the east side of Bergen Avenue between Kennedy Boulevard and Sip Avenue. The measure would eliminate the existing food truck zones on the north side of Sussex Street and on Grand and York streets. Food trucks will be able to operate on the south side of Sussex Street.
Food trucks will be able to park in the zones from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. rather than from the current 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
