New Jersey town considers allocating space for food trucks

June 12, 2019

The Jersey City, New Jersey city council is considering allowing food trucks to park near the Jersey City Medical Center, New Jersey City University and Journal Square, according to an nj.com report.

The council discussed a plan Monday that would allow food trucks near the medical center and preserve a parking area near Exchange Place.

Food trucks would be allowed to park on parts of Bergen Avenue, Jersey Avenue and Kennedy Boulevard. An existing parking zone near Exchange Place would be retained.
