New Orleans to host Nomad Food Truck Fest

New Orleans' Nomad Food Truck Fest will take place Friday, 5–8 p.m. at Champions Square, according to a notice published by The Advocate.

The event will also serve to promote a new mobile app called Nomad, developed by New Orleans-based Bienville Software. The app provides food truck location and menu information and allows users to place food orders for a fee.

Bars at Champions Square will be open, and the Phat Hat band will perform. Admission is free.

Trucks to appear at the Nomad event include: Afrodisiac; Burgers Ya Heard; Cocoa and Cream; Diva Dawg; Frencheeze; La Cocinita; New Orleans Style Cooking; Sauce Boss; and South in Ya Mouth.
