New York City Mayor Bill DiBlasio on Tuesday will sign a law requiring food trucks and carts in all five boroughs to post letter grades displaying their sanitary inspection scores, a requirement that restaurants have to follow, according to New Food Economy.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is expected to decide whether or not to sign similar legislation for the state.
The New York Food Truck Association, The Street Vendor Project and the Urban Justice Center have all supported the bill.
