North Carolina food truck event supports child abuse prevention

A food truck fundraiser, supporting child abuse prevention, is taking place Saturday, April 24 in Rowan County, North Carolina.

The event, sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Rowan, will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 130 Woodson Street, in Salisbury, according to a WBTV report.

The organization, which helps support advocacy programs and a community center, will receive a portion of proceeds. The event will also include tours of the community child advocacy center.
