North Carolina school bus morphs into food truck

A Fayetteveille, North Carolina business woman has transformed a school bus into a food truck serving up sweet and savory pies.

The Fayetteville Pie Co., owned by Kerry Washburn, serves up its baked goodies at Gaston Brewery & Taproom, according to a Fayetteville Observer report.

Washburn, who runs and owns the truck with his wife, Jen, said the former bus vehicle provided the needed space and unique look.

"People seem to really like it," Washburn told the news outlet. "It catches their attention."

The menu offers everything from apple pie to truffle-gruyere mac and cheese pie.
