Officials in Hermiston, Oregon called the city's experimental food truck pod at the corner of Orchard Avenue and Third Street a success despite some issues with electrical and wastewater accommodations as the program winds down this month, according to an East Oregonian report.
City planner Clint Spencer said food truck sales were better than expected.
He said he will debrief the city council in January, allowing lawmakers to decide whether or not to continue hosting the food pod on Orchard Avenue, move it elsewhere or discontinue it.
