Ohio city approves food truck legislation

December 13, 2018

The Chillicothe, Ohio, city council has approved food truck regulations covering the permitting process, hours of operation, operation on private property and fee structure, according to the Chillicothe Gazette. Officials hope the regulations will attract more mobile food vendors.

The third and final reading occurred earlier this year; the proposal was then put on hold to address some final concerns from vendors already operating in the city. Mayor Luke Feeney supported the legislation and urged the council to take its final vote.
